Brasstown Bald is the highest point in Georgia, in the North Georgia mountains, and it's part of the "Northern Georgia Scenic Byway Loop" for motorcyclists. You can check out some information on it here:

We took a weekend trip up to Dahlonega, where we spent the night. From there it was up to Suches on 60, then on through Wolf Pen Gap on 180. The twisties through there were really cool. That's takes you right across to connect to 348, better known as Richard Russell Scenic Highway. In eventually ends you up in Helen, a nice little town gone German style where it's great to walk and browse the boutiques and have a bit of German food and beer for lunch or dinner.

Once again, we had no camera. This is a trip I'm sure we'll take again because it's only about 90 minutes from where we live. We'll definitely be taking a camera with us next time.
